I don't think I am ever going to understand this pain theory. Last night I was sitting on public steps hearing somebody else tell me about the pains of piercings... and the pleasures thereof. I just say, what sistah?
ah I don't buy that. all writers are masochists, and you being a very fine writer... stands to reason that perhaps you just prefer a less-physical brand of self-mutilation.
Now I have the exact opposite theories - you know what they say? Every theory has an equal and opposite counter theory. I believe that most writers are beautiful sadists who inflict upon the unsuspecting reader the cascade of words that carries the reader into sublime domains of hard love.
So I am a sadist when I write. However, I read more than I write, which,in the natural course of things, makes me into a self flagellating masochist of the highest order. All in all, it is all about the fetishes.
The more comfortable theory of course is that writers are people with OCDs and deep seated neuroses rising from the day when their all-day sucker was forcefully taken away from them at age two.
actually, some bits early on were really painful. after that nothing hit that peak, so I was more than fine. And the filling in was a surprisingly good feeling.
I'm glad to see you still smiling after it all.. Though, I have to say that Indian tattoo artists still have a loooong way to go! I've seen some unbelievably amazing tattoo art here.. heck, they even have a tattoo museum.
...I wanna run to a mall and get a fake tatoo done right now ;-)
Nah, I've always wanted one but never got around to doing it. My resolve is getting stronger about getting a permanent tatoo. :-) Don't ask me how soon.
It looks super cool though :)
an addictive kinda pain, though.
yes?

Nice one man. If I know my Spidey trivia well, that image is from the very first issue with Doc Ock. I think I still have it somewhere.
Amazing Spider-Man 252, actually. The first time that black alien glop shows up on the webslinger.
